After leaving Liverpool Art School in 1980, with a first Class Hons in Graphic Design, I went to London and got a job with the advertising agency J Walter Thompson. For the next three decades I created campaigns, in all media, for famous household names like Polo, Yorkie, Jaguar cars, Benson and Hedges and Barclays.
I still pay the rent using my talents to sell other peoples services and products. However, increasingly I find satisfaction in self-expression working in a number of styles and media. I’ve had work exhibited in the V&A, hung on the walls of No.10 Downing Street, and made the shortlist for the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition.
