I make sculptural glass landscapes and beach scenes using a collage of found items from the local beaches and semi-precious stones. I aim to make my glass work and my images as textural as possible, combining the physical world with the imagined. Karen Ongley-Snook

Karen is a multi media artist who is particularly known for her colourful garden pieces, working with stained and fused glass, Jewell like colours which glow in the light, tall columns bringing structure to the garden. Her work always has a contemporary edge though she uses very traditional skills. Playing with colour and reflection , these pieces are built to withstand our British climate and look stunning in a frost.
