I was born in Carlisle in 1942. From 1952-1956 I was a chorister of St. Paul`s Cathedral. It so happened that the wife of the headmaster of the choir school was a well-known artist, Eileen Price (SWA) and for the whole of this time I had what amounted to private tuition from her.
