Picture inspired by trips to see our football team. Always on the look out for two magpies then we believe we will win.
I am a painter living and working in Southwick, West Sussex. I was born in 1951. I was recently studying for a B.A. in Painting with the OCA and prior to that I worked in many industries, starting my working life as a stockroom assistant at Woolworths, and retiring as an ICT Manager at a local hospice.
All my life my biggest passion has been painting, predominantly in oils but recently in acrylics. Over the years I have sold numerous paintings and completed many commissions. Having joined Adur Art Collective, and received much encouragement, I am now fulfilling my dream as a full time artist.
Recently (May 2017) I have started “A painting a Day”, a movement started by Duane Keiser in 2004. These are very quick practice pieces which I started doing as opposed to sketching.
