Himalayan Blue Poppy – by Shirley Trevena

adurArtcollective are a not-for-profit, artist led community group established to organise, promote, and develop visual arts in Shoreham by sea and surrounding area of Adur in Sussex.

There are currently over 150 member artists working in a variety of mediums including painting, printmaking, ceramics, photography, sculpture, jewellery, film making, fashion, textile design and glass.

adurArtcollective was formed in July 2010 by a group of artists who were keen to ensure the continuation of the Adur Art Trail in June each year after it lost council funding.

We have successfully done so for 8 years and more than doubled our membership over this time, expanding our activities to include this informative and interactive website, regular talks, demonstrations and workshops that take place throughout the year,  and which are open to all. Please regularly check our What’s On and Upcoming Events. The popular Adur Art Trail is now a biennial event with the next one being held in June 2020.

August 2019 will see us hold our second Summer Exhibition, running from the 17th to  the 31st at the fabulous Skyway Gallery in Shoreham. Once again we will be showing the fantastic and varied work of Adur artists.

We will also be producing an annual adurArtcollective Calendar and other promotional items that showcase our members’ work, and to raise vital funds for this self-supporting, volunteer led, community group.

In September 2014 we were delighted to announce as our Patron Shirley Trevena RI internationally renowned watercolour artist.
