Music has always been central to Delia’s life and painting is an extension of this passion, expressed through colour, shape, layout and the sheer physicality of it all.
Delia worked professionally in Ballet, Drama and Opera and currently coaches professional and student singers.

Shirley Trevena, RA Patron of Adur Art Collective, awarded Delia the prize for most innovative use of colour in AAC’s 2019 Summer Exhibition
In making her choice, Shirley said:
“As you know I am a great lover of colour and so my choice is, for me, a good example of vibrant colour. It is a small acrylic and oil pastel work called ‘Hidden 1’ by Delia Lindon-Spence. I greatly admire the work of Howard Hodgkin and Delia’s painting is a small exciting example of creating the same sense of vibrancy and story telling.”
At Art College Robin studied with tutor Jeffrey Camp RA and then had training in Aeronautical Engineering before becoming an Architect – winning many International and National competitions / awards.
Robin has on several occasions exhibited at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition.
Robin’s paintings ranged from figurative drawings / paintings, to abstract and experiments with multimedia techniques.
Robin’s other passions interests included- music, Greece, it’s language and people, the Shoreham Society, teaching Argentinian Tango with his wife Delia, church and the beach !
