This weekly drop in session for you to explore an existing project or starting a new one with Collagraph Printing method. It spread out 5 weeks to allow time to explore making a plate with different materials and variety inking methods. Collagraph is an exciting technique where textured papers and materials are glued to a backing board to make a plate and produce rich, expressive and highly textural prints. You will make you own collagraph plates, learning how to translate your design into a textural collage. While printing you will also have the chance to explore a variety of inking techniques to add further depth and colour to your work. Beginners welcome.

Papercutting Workshop

The workshop is a one of session of 3 hours in which time I'll run briefly through the history of paper cutting. We'll be practicing a few techniques, after which you will be ready to create your own papercut. You can either use a template or design your own intricate image to cut, ready for framing or mounting on cards at your own leisure. You may come prepared with ideas, sketches or get inspired from many reference books provided. All materials and use of specialist tools provided, (remember to bring your glasses if you need them!)
