September 8 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
The workshop is a one of session of 3 hours in which time I’ll run briefly through the history of paper cutting. We’ll be practicing a few techniques, after which you will be ready to create your own papercut. You can either use a template or design your own intricate image to cut, ready for framing or mounting on cards at your own leisure. You may come prepared with ideas, sketches or get inspired from many reference books provided. All materials and use of specialist tools provided, (remember to bring your glasses if you need them!)
Maximum of 8 people. The workshop cost is £30. I will be running the workshops, from 1pm to 4pm in the comfort of my house in Portslade Old Village.
There is plenty of free parking available and the No 1 and 1A bus stops almost opposite the house. The early afternoon session means perfect timing for tea/coffee and home made cakes! Let me know if you would like me to reserve a place for you on one of these days and I’ll send you a booking form and details for deposit to secure your place.
