Sarah Duffield (Thats me) has been awarded a contract from Horsham District council as part of the Year of Culture 2019.
I’ve been asked to create four paintings of areas within the district, the paintings will be displayed at a solo exhibition in September next year.
You can read my very short, quite funny blog post all about the start of my big Horsham project here –
I’ll be holding drop in sessions at the Cow shed studio, Washington Road, BN443DA in Steyning between 12 noon and 2pm on the 20th October and the 3rd of November. The sessions are open to all, they are opportunities for you to come along, say hello, have a look at my map of lovely, arty places to paint (feel free to add your own ideas) take a peek at some of my sketches and have a go at creating a masterpiece in charcoal yourself. Lots of tea, coffee and probably cake will be available as will mini prints and greeting cards of my work.
It would be really lovely to see some new and familiar faces, everyone is welcome including children, parents and well behaved partners.
