Royston Hawley died on 7th October 2017.
He was a member of the Adur Arts Collective for many years and was a prolific painter of seascapes, exhibiting during the annual art trail at the SkyBluePink Open House on Shoreham High Street, in the Skyway Gallery in 2017.
His painting career flourished in his seventies and early eighties, driven by personal experiences and the constant awareness of the changing energies of the elements to make impressionistic and dynamic images. He developed into an accomplished painter while completing a Fine Art degree at Wimbledon College in his late forties and painted constantly since then.
He will be very much missed by his family and close friends and by the many people who loved and bought his pictures.
