The Future of adurArtcollective

The annual AGM of adurArtcollective Last Sunday 16th September at the Shoreham Centre marked the end of an era.

As announced earlier in the year the joint Chairs Kim Adele Fuller and Chris Howitt will be stepping down from the leadership of adurArtcollective after 8 Years.

Quotes from Kim and Chris:-

“We are proud to have built a strong and stable not-for- profit community organisation that is concerned with the continued growth and development of the visual arts in the local area for the benefit of the members and the wider community.”

“adurArtcollective has become a well respected and highly regarded group of artists with a professional website that puts on first class events including the popular Adur Art Trail. Membership is at an all time high and we are pleased to be able hand over the reins to this new team with fresh ideas and energy.”

After the financial and website report and a review of the years activities the New Committee members were introduced to the assembled audience of around 50 members.

There will be an extended membership of 2 months during which the transition will take place and new membership forms will be available on at the beginning of October. Membership fees remain stable and represent excellent value for money.
